Re: Introduce a Friend - *NEW* - Ends 14th March.

      Hi folks,

new to this forum so hello to all. Please excuse me if this has been discussed previously.

I am very interested in getting Sky TV along with their Broadband and Free/Evening Weekend Calls. What I would pay for that I'm already paying to Tiscali for Broadband alone so as far as I'm concerned it's a win/win situation. When speaking to a colleague at work who has Sky she mentioned this introduce a friend offer. She only mentioned the introduce a friend voucher offer.

Originally I would have been happy with a basic Sky box but if the opportunity arises for a free Sky + box then I don't want to pass that by. Reading the forums I am a bit confused as there seems to have been various offers for introduce a friend over the past few months with various cut off dates?

I called my Brother in Law tonight who is also currently a Sky Customer. He has receieved no correspondence about the introduce a friend Sky + offer. I said to him that I thought their was the opportunity for him to get a free Sky + as well as me through the introduce a friend scheme. Am I right about this? Is the free Sky + box a targeted campaign as my Brother in Law hasn't received any info about it. He is going to make enquiries with Sky tomorrow.

Generally I'm a bit confused about it so any clarity would be appreciated? Like I said if their is the opportunity for me (and my B-I-L) to get a free Sky + box then I/we don't want to miss out!

      Thanks for your help.

      Martin

Anyone want a free Sky+ box and install?

I've just received two vouchers that allow a new subscriber to Sky to get a free Sky+ box and free standard installation. In turn, the referrer (me) gets 50 of M&S vouchers.

So, what do you need to do?

      I have two codes.

If you want a free Sky+ box and free install, PM me with your request. Can you also PM me a valid contact telephone number along with your name & address.

I will then give you one of the codes.

You then call Sky before 14th March 2008 on the number I will give you (a dedicated number, not general Sky enquiries). You quote 'Share' and the unique code I've given you, along with my name and address as the 'friend' who has referred you. You then sign-up and receive your Sky contract number.

You must then give me your Sky contract number and the name and address that is associated with this.

I then have to call Sky with this information before 14th April 2008 in order to claim my vouchers.

IMPORTANT: The code I give you does not tie your order to me automatically. In order to claim my vouchers I HAVE to be given your contract number and name & address once you've signed up. If not, you get your free Sky+ and I get nothing.

I would ask mods to insist that anyone who uses the codes they have been given will honor their side of the bargain and give the referrer the information they need after they have made the 'sign-up' phone call so that they may claim their M&S vouchers.

So, if you want a code, PM me. I will be checking in regularly over the weekend and next week so please be patient if you register an interest...I WILL get back to you.

Re: Introduce a Friend - *NEW* - Ends 14th March.

Looks like this offer is only valid if the new subscriber goes for Base broadband - can anyone confirm this?
      - - -I can only get 'connect' broadband, but would be real happy to have a Sky+ box from a new 'best friend'.

Re: Introduce a Friend - *NEW* - Ends 14th March.

On the offer we received this morning there's no mention that you have to have anything other than sky subscription for 12 months & connection to a fixed telephone line (as usual). The broadband & Sky Talk is optional. Incidentally. on our offer we get a Sky + box too if we introduce a 'NEW' friend. We both have to pay for installation. Shame I've got no friends really.

wireless speed test ~ router connected 4 extensions away from the master socket in the spare bedroom ... I think I need to move further away from the exchange, it's blocking my view of the sewage farm
