Done various speed checks at various times of the day and the results are quite apalling - During the day, my average download speed is 7 - 7.18 mb/s (quite respectable - if your at home during the day and can take advantage of it....) After 5pm my speed drops to an almost unusable download speed of 0.23mb/s !!!! (upload speeds are fairly consistant throughout at around an average of 0.23 mb/s) - ping times are also quite consistant at around 77ms - This massive 'cap' / drop in speed makes it almost impossible to do anything apart from (just about) , web browae - evan then, pages often take an age to load, thats if they don't time out altogether...bloody frustrating - Sky don't seem to be interested, so why should I - I am now going to cancel my whole package with sky and look elsewhere - they are ripping me off @£17 per month for something that is next to useless - At least Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a mask........total fraud.
