Unable to get Airport connection

Hi all newbie here.

Got Sky broadband this week, everything is fine, but I am unable to get online using my second mac via airport.

I have connected to my next door neighbours broadband conection - so airport card working ok.

I have connected wirelessly to sky via a sony psp - so sky router and connection ok.

Getting the following message when I try and connect: "There was an error joining the selected airport network."

I have tried Sky tech support - waste of time

Please can someone help me out.

Although I have airport I don't use, but have you got wireless settings enabled on the router? I presume you have airport enabled



If not, log -in to router and go to wireless settings and enable wireless access point.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. Problem sorted now.
Did a sofware update: (AirPort Extreme Driver Update 2005-001, version 1). Cheers.
