Logging into forum website

Hi, I find that I need to enter username & password each time I visit this forum despite checking 'remember me'. I use MacOsX & I have tried enabling the forum url in Keychain. Still doesn't work. Not a great issue but slightly painful having to enter details every time. Just curious, is this common or am I doing something wrong ? Any advice would be welcome.

Re: Logging into forum website

Hi Krish

We get on average about 1 person per month with the same problem, unfortunately I wouldn't even know how to switch a MAC on let alone sort the cookies out.

Try logging in on the forum page rather than the home page or the other way around and see how you get on.

Re: Logging into forum website

Are you accessing using Firefox or Safari.?

Both seem to work ok for me.

Are you signing in useing the main log in screen? remember the password is case sensitive.

To set cookies in Safari go to Preferences - security tab - there will be option to always save cookies / never / only to sites you navigate too --- ensure the 1st or 3rd options are ticked.

If using firefox - Preferences - privacy - accept cookies. Also go to Security tab - there will be option to safe passwords.

Don't know if this will work for you but worth a try.

Andrew

Re: Logging into forum website

Thank you both for taking the trouble to help. I use Safari, I have set 3rd option for cookies, I have tried logging into main & forum login screen, password correctly entered. Doesn't work so far. Will keep trying. Thanks again & best regards, Raj
