I've got Hardware Configured Automatically and 802.1X Enable automatic connection box TICKED, otherwise same (apart from different DNS servers used).

OK apart from your MTU, that is if this is a typo 'MUT: Custom 1280'. 1500 works with most Sky lines. You can find the best figure by opening a Command Prompt and typing ping Google -f -l 1492. then Enter. You will probably get a reply, like 'Packet needs to be fragmented' This means it is too large so reduce the figure by 10 until you get a timed reply. You then add 28 to the figure and that is your MTU. eg. If the figure is 1472 add 28 = 1500.

You can download DrTCP which will allow you to easily change the MTU on your PC should it be required.

Hardware Configured Automatically effectively gives MTU Standard 1500 (seen in greyed out) which works fine on Sky Fibre.

Not sure that DrTCP works on a Mac?

That's what happens when you don't notice the Section the post has been made in,

No problem, I didn't notice either - in fact, I didn't even know there was a specific Mac users section!

I always use the 'What's New?' button so sometimes miss the Section.
