Re: Can someone check my Time Capsule set is correct?

Wee update after a few hours:

I set up 1 my airports only for now as follows:

      Sky SR101:

      Default IP - 192.168.0.1
      DMZ host - 192.168.0.250
      DHCP - unticked
Assigned static IP for Airport - 192.168.0.250

On the Airport Extreme (5th gen)

      DHCP & NAT - enabled
      IP - 192.168.0.250
      Subnet mask - 255.255.255.0
      Gateway - 192.168.0.250
      DNS - 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4
DHCP - 10.0.1.1 IP for the router, and range set at 10.0.1.2 to 10.0.1.200

Think that was all I needed then updated which restarted the Airport Extreme.....came on with a double NAT warning but I ticked the ignore box as think this cant be avoided???? correct me if im wrong please.

Updated again and all done and connected to the internet perfectly and so far after 4 1/2 hours its still connected, with zero dropouts.

If anyone can see anything that I may have missed then please let me know, but I do have a couple of questions now....

1: The sky router shows the Airport as an unknown device, where as is was showing its name yesterday....why?

2: Can any of the other 3 ethernet ports on the sky router be used?

3: The second Airport Extreme ive yet to set up, will this get connected to the 1st Airport and set up in bridge mode?

      Thanks

Just found out that 6 minutes after writing this post my sky router lost internet connection.....hopefully just a 1 off, but will keep an eye on it....either that or the several reboots this morning has caused the line to be checked/monitored for stability?

Re: Can someone check my Time Capsule set is correct?

Just thought would update again.....now been up and running for 70 hours without any internet drops, so im assuming the drop mentioned above must have been my line sorting itself out or something???

Very happy with the results and also now have the 2nd airport extreme connected to the 1st for a roaming network and works brilliantly.
