For the love of God... 2 hours trying!!!
I am attempting to set up my existing business email address using Sky Broadband, however - I am getting no luck what so ever. I can not send email.
I am NOT looking to set up a Sky email per-se - I want to retain my email address.
Many thanks.
Steve

You can't, you would need to apply for and setup a SkyUser email account.

That makes no sense to me. How am I supposed to send business emails if I have to subscribe to a Sky email address whilst using their broadband??
This is not something I am familiar with - Have to admit to being technologically backward - but who therefore, is responsible for my business email?
I have spoken to the company hosting my website and they told me I had to contact/use my internet provider.

Sky do not provide a business service, the T & Cs specifically prohibit business use.
You can apply for a Skyuser SMTP account. This has nothing whatsoever to do with BSkyB, it is run by the founders of this forum, which is an unofficial support forum for Sky.
You can find details on how to apply in this thread - How to apply for a SkyUser SMTP account

Re: For the love of God... 2 hours trying!!!
basically your business email always runs from your hosting company, so you will have that email from them which you can retrieve using their server details.
where as sky (BSkyB) supply a sky.com email which you can use via their servers
so i dont see why you can use your old email or why your hosting company want it stopped, unless you mean your previous ISPBugatti Veyron - One of the best engineering projects ever!
