      No McAfee with Snow Leopard?

      Hi,
Just done a good Sky Broadband installation, the connection seems a little quicker than PlusNet! Decided to install McAfee, but that does not even load after installation. I suspect Snow Leopard doesn't like it, can anybody advise if that is the case and also if they do a version that's free to Sky users and SL compatible. Searched both Sky and McAfee website to no avail.
      In anticipation, thanks.

Have you ever had other AV packages installed? Competing brands don't like one another so you need to make sure old stuff is fully uninstalled. See the readme file that comes with the .dmg package for more info.

I could be wrong but I was under the impression that you don't need Virus software with Snow Leopard?

Mac users have a different option, McAfee Virus Scan, have a look at the bottom of this page
