      Lightbulb Netgear

      Hi,

I have a Sky netgear GT router and I am having speed issues with it (loading web pages especially). I wanted to use opendns, but being the sky firmware, I can't get to that page to change it.

My question is: I have bought an airport extreme; can I put the sky/netgear into modem mode (without flashing it) and use the Airport Extreme to handle the network and DNS stuff (I take it I would have to put my sky user/pass in here), and would it still be legit in terms of Sky's T&Cs, given that I would still be using their modem to access the internet?

If not, can you recommend a cheap ADSL modem to stick infront of the Airport Extreme to take the Sky Router out altogether?

      Many thanks,

      Tom.
