Watching ITV live streams on Mac

Has anyone with a Mac successfully got live streaming of any ITV channel to work?

I thought I'd try it out, in case it might be a useful way to watch a bit of football when the TiVos are busy recording other stuff.

Anyway the itv.com website helpfully pointed me at a required install of Microsoft Silverlight, which went OK.

Watching video clips works OK, but live streaming = nothing!

We have recently made recent changes to the site to enable viewers using Firefox and Mac computers to view our videos, however the new service is still in a beta stage, which means that there are still bugs and outstanding issues that we are working to fix. You can watch a live stream of ITV on your Mac using Zattoo.

It's a free download from zattoo.com

You get ITV1 London, Wales, STV (Scotland) and Ulster TV (ITV1 in Northern Ireland).
You can also view BBC national variations, as well as a few Freeviews channels and a handful of channels from overseas.

It's all perfectly legal, apparently.

If you want ITV2 etc, there's also TVCatchup.com - but it's still only in Beta and may not be available for Sky users yet.

itv.com/catchup now works for me with both safari & Firefox thanks to Microsoft Silverlight 2!
