502 Proxy Error

Sky informed that they have changed me to "Sky Email and Tools 'powered by Google" however each time I have logged in and tried to access my email the following appears :-
Proxy Error

The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /amserver/SSORedirect/metaAlias/sky.

Reason: Error reading from remote server

IBM_HTTP_Server Server at id.sky.com Port 80

Can anyone tell me what this means and what I can to access my email

do you get the error if you refresh the page?

failing that it appears that this is a problem related to firefox, so perhaps you could try ie?

Tried using Safari and am now able to access email

I am using firefox on a mac, and whenever I go there I get the same error, but refreshing the page fixes it. As you say, it works first time with Safari.

Now getting this myself using XP Home & IE7 - was OK earlier today. Refreshing page does not cure it. Anybody else getting the same?

Edit continual refreshing eventually states
Most likely causes:
The website is under maintenance.
The website has a programming error.

No real surprise there then!
