      Joining Sky & Keeping Your Number Online?

      Hi, trying to order fibre and talk online but get the message -

      'order online and we'll give you a new number. to keep your existing number, please call to order'

      Is this worst case senario? I'm coming from BT so is it likely my number will be ported automatically?

      Do you want to order online for a reason, eg. to take advantage of an online only offer? If not then for peace of mind why not call Sky to place your order?
      If it is important to you that you order online then follow up the order with a phone call to make sure that you will be able to keep your existing directory number.

      As long as Sky don't cancel the order and place a new order then it should track. Perhaps best not talking to the sales team as they are likely to cancel the order and place a new order just so they can collect their commission.
