    Can I transfer saved programmes from my sky box to new Freesat Humax box ?

      Is there any (preferably very easy !) way to change boxes without losing all my saved programmes ?

      I think your biggest problem will be Sky programs are encrypted and need a Sky box to decrypt them. They would not play on a Humax. The only way would be to transfer them 'real time', using a cable, which would take a long time if you have more than a few programs you want to keep.

      You could copy the non Sky programs, which are not encrypted, to your PC and then to your Humax using something like ExPVR
