Sky called with offer to rejoin tv at 5.35 a month

I left sky TV back in December 2013. Atthe time of leaving I signed up to Sky Fibre with Line rental for 12 months.

Sky phoned me yesterday to ask if I wanted to come back to Sky TV for 5.35 per month for a 12 month contract.
I only use to receive the basic package with Entertainment Plus add on.

Having said yes, but looking in to it further will I only get the original package? I have a Humax HD box and guess I already get most of the channels.

So is it really worth rejoining?

I thought about getting Netflix instead?

      Any thoughts please.

Well I get at least 1 offer a week from Sky since leaving, no need to go back with a Humax box that I can see. Their TV could be even cheaper if they weren't spamming people who'd left with deals they should have offered when we were a "valued" customer. Netflix isn't worth much either unless you are nostalgic for old series/movies it is however quite a bit better if you have a way to alter DNS on your chosen device as the USA version is slightly better (well more choice).

      Many thanks.

I called to cancel the new installation and they offered it to me for 2.67 a month and 40 credit, but I decided no to as it will be only the basic channels. I spend most of the time surfing through the channels rather than watching anything anyway, so no great loss.

They could not believe I did not want it?

Neither can I! You turned down an offer where Sky were going to pay you nearly 8 to take their TV for a year and I suppose supply you with a new box? That's unbelievable.
