      Thinking of getting sky fiber

      Hi really sorry if this has been posted, but im thinking of moving from virgin broadband to sky fiber how does it compare ?

      Depends on what the performance is like where you are and what you use the Internet for.

      There are two Sky Fibre packages at the moment. SFU is advertised as a 38/8 product, where SFUP is advertised as a 76/18 product. Both have good pings for gamers.

      As for the backhaul, this is something that many VM people complain of. Sky have always fixed any backhaul issues meaning that you may experience some peak period issues but Sky does fix them.

      Personally the performance where I am has been very good.

      Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro: Connected at 80,000 kbps / 20,000 kbps
      Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB
      Speedtest: 17.15MB/s 0.97Mb/s Ping 31 ms
