So potentially a lot more sky connect customers?
      Oh dear.

Maybe. Or potentially more customers on Sky's LLU network, if Sky's LLU exchange coverage is currently (or will eventually be) bigger than TT's (whose, I think, has effectively stopped growing).

Might have been better for their customer satisfaction scores if Sky had sold out their Connect customers years ago. TT have obviously realised that depending on BT is a waste of time and money.

According to the latest financial report from BSkyB they only installed their kit in one new exchange since the beginning of the current financial year. That was in the first quarter. So sadly this leaves me to believe that they aren't expanding into other exchanges at the present time.

There are many exchanges where Sky has kit and TalkTalk doesn't, but TalkTalk do have more exchanges than Sky.

In addition, any exchanges where BTO FTTC is available, Sky can simply encourage those affected to upgrade to SFU instead of the dreaded Connect package.

I don't know what the overlap was between Sky and O2/BE but I'd imagine Sky now has a presence in a lot more exchanges than they did this time last year and at least some additional capacity.

The Sky LLU covers mainly urban areas and many rural districts have no connection. SamKnows - Sky / Easynet LLU shows those covered (green dots) and those not covered (red dots).

Re: TalkTalk offer 136,000 broadband customers for sale to BSkyB and BT

I did look when the initial announcement of Sky buying the Be & O2 customers was made.

From memory Most, if not all, the exchanges with the Be/O2 LLU kit also had Sky kit. So I don't believe there was much in the way of a gain from Sky in that respect.

The same isn't quite true for Sky and TalkTalk.

There are more exchanges with TalkTalk's kit, but there are also a few that only have Sky's kit.
