Right I am saving up at the minute I have a 580watt power supply and I am wondering if two nvidia 650 ti boosts will be able to work in sli mode or two amd 7850s in crossfire will work with that kind of power. In terms of budget well I don't know yet as I have only started I have 155 at the minute so got a bit to go yet.

I would say your power supply would need upgrading to be safe.

But who knows for sure as you never answer any of the questions people ask of you.

Don't forget it also depends on the quality of the PSU. A cheap one may have 500w on the label, but it will struggle to provide a consistent output.
