With both Linkedin and eHarmony sites also reporting issues, I would HIGHLY recommend that anyone who uses these sites ensures that their passwords are different on any site which they use.

Apparently a fake email has been sent to all Linkedin users requesting that they change their passwords by clicking the links in the message.

      Be careful folks!

As usual pick a secure set of passwords. The best advice is to use a theme. Don't let anyone know your theme or at least make it a theme that isn't easy to guess. Use a foreign language if you like, but it may help to purposefully mis-spell some words, use a mix of upper and lower case letters and also use numbers, perhaps in the place of letters.

Could use a hash code generator then cut and paste it to a file on a memory stick this way you could just copy from the external source to help gaurd against key loggers (may be confusing for some)

I use a macro program that is password protected, yes I have to remember one passsword but inside they are all random passwords and this also stops keylogers.
