Re: Google Chrome web browser

Just read about this on another site.

Any reviews?

Have you tried it?

Re: Google Chrome web browser

Using it now.

It seems pretty quick, but a bit basic. Still it's only a beta at the moment, i will reserve judgement for another day.

Re: Google Chrome web browser

Just installed it! It seems to be lightning fast, but that may be an illusion. I have not looked into add ons yet, that may slow it down. It will have to be good to keep me away from Firefox.

Edit - Getting this at the bottom of all the forum pages-
This web page is not available.

The web page at null might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
It is still a Beta so it might just be a midgie(small bug)

Re: Google Chrome web browser

I've only been running it for 30 minutes on a very basic computer (1ghz processor, 256mb ram) and it is working alot better than ie7.

Also like it when you open a new tab and it automatically shows you thumbnails of the most frequently visited sites.

Play with it some more tomorrow, must go and watch the new series of Deadliest Catch now.

Re: Google Chrome web browser

I like the way it can run g mail as a separate application. You just click on the page control button (next to the spanner) and click on Control application shortcuts.
