Interesting my exchange will be enabled November 2007 so will wait and see as Sky may offer something similar you never know.

Sky could offer it now. Their current LLU is ADSL2+ (like Be) and this gives speeds of up to 24Mb.

Small problem is that you need an attenuation of <20db to get anywhere near this speed. Which is probably why they don't.

if you can only get 12mb on sky now you will only get 12mb with Be

only a small percentage of the population can get 24mb, its just a cleaver advertising gimik "up to 24Mb" sounds better then "up to 16Mb"
as Saturday has said both Sky and Be use ADSL2+,
i would think Sky are not going for the 24Mb route because they prob know they would get more phone calls saying "i can only get such and such speed"
as they get now.

simply put if you live next door to the exchange or in the same street you may stand a chance of getting 24mb
and if you dont then why pay more then double for the same speed as you get now.

Re: HAVE A LOOK 24mb Broadband

AFAIK the fastest recorded connection in the UK was just over 18Mbit. Advertising 24Mbit, as stated above, is pretty much a waste of time as its never going to happen
