Hi All from a wet dreary Scotland

Found this forum tonight whilst looking for Sky HD sound sync problems.

Wish I'd looked here before getting it installed today (lol)

Re: Say Hello

Hello
Thanks for the welcome. I am a complete newbie to Sky - previously freeview, BT for phone and Broadband - now taken the HD+ and 3 bundles, talk anytime and BB. So far so good. Having some teething problems with the router, having to switch off/on a couple of times to get on line but otherwise pretty painless. Stressful as we are off on hols on Sat and trying to notify changes but at least Sky continue to give me access to my BT e-address. Is that indefinite or temporary?

Anyway retired, only 1 wife, 3 adult kids, 2 grand kids and going to Disney Fl with most of them on Sat. Looking forward to using this forum for my daft questions.

Oh, and by the way, my router is DG934G1 but there wasn't a box for that!

Re: Say Hello

Hello, I have used Sky for 10 years now and have just upgraded from Sky+ to Sky+HD. Came to this website in search of answers because the lip sync problem on HD channels is driving me bananas!!

Re: Say Hello

HI, my name is Steve, and I'm here because most of my carefully constructed wireless network now does not work since we changed from BT to SKY and SKY csr's do not support anything other than their router... Big respect to the good people who set up this forum, at least if all else fails it looks like I can re use my old router, which will at least mean the rest of my network will become available to me again. Currently I can't print, my daughter can't use either hers, or my, tablet PC and my media server doesn't work. To say I was unhappy is an understatement, and I certainly won't be having SKY broadband again...

Re: Say Hello

Hey, Im Gaz, im 18 and a network tech from the Hull area.

Im a big gamer and play in alot of high profile teams and leagues, if any of you were at i34 we may have met ^^

Having some big issues at the moment with my sky connect package, looks like it could be a culmination of the interleave and ratio though BT, although sky CST really havn't been great, ive had to simplify most network terminology to them and been bagared by there lack of rights on the line and willingness to do the simplist of things with me!

Hopefully be sorted in the next 72 hours but i wont hold my bnreath, so i thought id sign up to offer my knowlage and try and gain some answers to the questions i have, also want to know what the hell happend to TeamSkyUser...
