Re: Say Hello

Hi everybody, my name is Alan and live in Southport in the North West of England.

I found you while searching for an answer to a problem I was having with my newly installed Sky Max BB. My router was going to "sleep" if left unattended for any length of time.

I have spent quite a bit of time talking to Sky without any success, only to find a number of you have had / are having the same issue.

I have disabled the Upnp so lets hope thats a start to get things running smoothly.

Also have a Thomson PVR3 Sky+ box with full package.

Looking forward to making new friends and sharing knowledge and help.

Alan

Re: Say Hello

Hi Alan, I go to Southport about 5 times a year, especially for the Airshow, however seems they have shut the fairground, I feel it will be once a year in the future, great place and the people are friendly

Re: Say Hello

Hi

I'm Bubba from Swindon, I'm female and 31. I'm an office manager / finance manager for local company. I've been on the net now ten years and ordered the Sky package today after AOL started capping and penalising their loyal customers, looking to save some cash and enjoy sky TV Again.

Apparently max will be released on my exchange in march, so seriuosly can't wait to take advantage of that!

You guys seem a friendly bunch, so thought I'd put my head round the door rather than lurk

Re: Say Hello

Hi all,

Just found this site and thought I'd join up. Might get some of my problems sorted.

Have joined Sky on the MAX package in the last few monthes and been failtly happy.

I am a dad of three boys, god help my partnet.. lol. Youngest one is only 8 days ol now, so sleepless nights are in again.
Other two and 10yrs and 2yrs.
I work shifts for a large american bank in the Canary Wharf area.
I drive a MKiv Supra, not the family car for sure and finally I live in Essex.. originally from London.

So howdy.
