      Sky loyalty advert.

I have just watched the Sky loyalty advert on the telly. I have been a Sky customer since 1990 when Sky took over British Satellite Broadcasting (BSB). Nobody is knocking on my door or parachuting into my garden offering me "loyalty deals."

Yeah I shouldn't have to ring them surely they know me by now. I want those paratroopers landing on my lawn and those Sky ladies knocking on my door.

I've subscribed to Sky since it was in it's early pre digital stages & have now been a VIP since digital change over no problems at all & get a good service.
I just wish the area in which I live had a fibre network, as it is the fibre stops at a street cabinet about 150 mtrs from my home, then it's the old fashioned over head cables, ugh!

These promotions rarely yield much, regardless of the company touting it. I like most people would rather have a decent speed connection, especially with internet based TV on the near horizon.

Ah yes the, much vaunted, free connection speed upgrade. I had that email months and months ago but I still haven't had any increase in my speed.

You won't if the speed is limited by the physical connection.

It isn't, but surely Sky would not be stupid enough to send out emails to people who cannot be upgraded? Oh hang on, yes they are that stupid.
