      This caught my attention:-

      You would think some lawyer would take this case for free for the publicity.

      If he is not able to watch the videos, what use is broadband to him? If he is blind his wife may have downloaded the video right in front of him and he would be none the wiser.

      'I did not have my wireless network password protected' is no excuse these days.

      There is software available that does enable people to have messages read to them. This can integrate with instant messengers as well.

      However, I am not aware of many porn films which have an Audio Description track. Perhaps I just do not mingle with those kinds of people.

      It's obviously someone leaching off his WAN but it's hard to prove. I believe that legally if it's your line thats used to download illegal material you're legally responsible for it, whether you actually did the downloading or not.

      This is very true.

      However, at least in the UK, if you can prove that it was some other individual who was performing the illegal activity without your consent, then they can be held responsible, provided that that are legally an adult.

      This can in some cases be sufficient to get you off the hook.
