Increased activity and interference from The Rift?

Whenever I watch Torchwood or Rugby my television
      switches itself off.
There seems to be a peak of activity on Wednesday around 9 pm.
My neighbour, from New Zealand, says this does not happen
      when the cricket is on.
What the hell is going on?

Sounds like your television has taste!! Sorry could not resist that. What else happens in your home at that time? I mean does the heating come on? or something like that that may cause a mains spike that the tv is picking up.

      Thanks Guys. Problem solved.

My daughter is in love with Gareth David-Lloydd (Ianto) in Torchwood.
Finally she admitted the truth last night.
Lately, Ianto has been up to things that she finds a real turn off.
So, using a second handset she secretly turns off the TV
when she doesn’t want to see things she finds embarrassing.
