Under the Data Protection Act as an individual you have a right to know what anyone has on file about you from any company etc etc.
You have to write to them and enclose a cheque for £10.00 made payable to them and ask for a copy of what they have on their records. They have forty days to provide such information and if they do not do so, they could get into trouble and fined by the Data Protection Registar.
Recently in a court case when a bank customer took their bank to court for reclaiming their court costs, a Judge ruled that the Data Protection Officer for the bank, could be imprisoned for not doing this request within the 40 days.

I'll post a sticky shortly, just in the middle of a letter of complaint lol.
Out of interest any one got any experience of small claims court procedures?
Maybe I should give them a taste of their own medicine and take action against them?
