To be honest they can't stop you from putting your Xbox in the DMZ, they won't talk you put through doing it but if it is a setting withing the router then if you use that setting it is up to you. What happens when you add your Xbox to the DMZ, do you get any kind of error message?

Yeah when you do it within the router settings you change to xbox ip adress and click apply but it then just goes back to 0.0.0.0 so dont think it works

I had my xbox in the DMZ when j had the sky hub.

Have you given your Xbox a static IP?

No, give your Xbox a static IP. 192.168.0.300

Then put that into the DMZ.

Sky has no control over what you put in that box.

      Oh ok sorry...

Have you tried reseting it back to its default settings?

If so ring sky tell them it's not fit for purpose, and get the to send you a replacement.

Call them back and tell them your router will not allow you to put any device in the DMZ. It should and if it does not it's faulty.

Do it now and tell them to fix it or put you through to the cancellations department.
