When I worked for Curry's many years ago, I a customer told me he would bever use orange because his wife bought a mobile phone with them and shortly after became ill and was diagnosed with a brain tumour, which tragically was terminal. When she contacted them and asked to cancel the contract they insisted she pay the full 12 months even though she would be dead in a few months

      That's absolutely disgusting

Fortunately for me I've never had to contact Orange customer support.

shocking... almost as bad as the RIAA when they were trying to sue a dead lady in the states, initiailly they wouldn't even accept the death certificate as evidence that it was impossible for this person to have been downloading music when they said she had

I have had no problems with the 360 unitl i had SKY broadband. During the day it was fine then after 4pm it would not download anything or could not connect properly and kept crashing with the screen going pixulated and me having to turn the 360 off.

Last night did some on line gaming and when i connected the unit went down internet crashed and now have to send my X360 back
It sounds obvious but you should have just unplugged the whole thing and reconnected everything...8/10 the red lights go away

Well, red lights can mean lots of things. The most common problem is a loose cable, either in the back of your Xbox or the back of your TV. You should also check that memory cards and harddrives, and any other hardware is properly connected. Also make sure that you have around 5" of space at each side of the console. I've had zero problems with my xbox, luckily, and I've had it since day one!
