      World of Warcraft high latency

      Hi just started playing wow since moving from bt and im Experiencing very high latency 2000ms+ has anyone else got this problem or know how to resolve it?

      How long have you been connected? If it is over 14 days and DLM has completed on your line you will have to call Sky and ask them to put you on a Gamer Profile or reduce your delay to 8. If you are still in the DLM training period you will have to wait till it completes.

      It is always useful if queries like this are accompanied by the router stats, just in case there are other issues.

      In addition to what isitme suggested, as 2000ms+ is crazily high, it may be worth checking 2 other things.

      Firstly, to see if your exchange is affected with any issues, go here: Broadband and Talk service updates | Sky Customer Support

      Then, check which firmware your router has by logging in here: http://192.168.0.01 & clicking 'further diagnostic help'. User ID = admin, Password = sky. It's the 3rd line under 'system details'.

      There was a firmware released a few weeks back for the 2504n router (which i presume you have), that apparently caused this kind of problem. See here: Sagem 2504n New FW Issues - 6.14.1a4N_UNI
