28ms ping - unable to test packetloss?

Hi, I think I should ring SKY because gaming is now impossible. I have a F@ST2504n modem used to be fine, but this last week games are unplayable

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 19107 kbps 1157 kbps
Line Attenuation 16.5 dB 10.2 dB
Noise Margin 7.0 dB 9.3 dB

pingtest.net gives me a 28ms ping, but its unable to test packetloss for some reason.

So I need to complain to sky and also mention the gamer profile. What is the best number to call?

      thanks

Delays will most likely already be 8ms ('gamer profile') on those stats.

      Ethernet or wireless?
Ping bbc website from command prompt and check ping times from there.

Re: 28ms ping - unable to test packetloss?

bbc was 27ms average from command prompt. Ethernet connection sorry I should've mentioned.
I wouldnt mind a lower ping, but games are so laggy (eg. battlefield3, looking around is fine, but every 2secs it lags. Players jump for a split second etc.
Like I said, the connection was great before, I've not changed anything.
