Going over you daily limit with SkyBB

Just a quick question I hope you can help me with. I'm on Sky connect (I think) I know I have a 1.2GB daily limit, but I'm also a bit of a gamer. Today's patch to Battlefield3 is 2.07GB will Sky slow my speed down if I go over my limit.

Also I know this SkyBB package sucks, but I'm rarely at home so the monthly/daily limit doesn't really affect me.

      Thanks in advance.

Re: Going over you daily limit with SkyBB

It may do, so to give yourself the best chance, download it outside the peak period, say between 12am and 4pm. Sky are not supposed to throttle you unless you go over the limit regularly, but some claim this is not the case. It would be a bit hard if you have used practically nothing in the first part of the month, then get hit for exceeding a daily limit for one day. That would be neither fair or reasonable.

Thanks for that, my plan was to start the download at 11:50 tonight and let it tick over two days. Fingers crossed, no point in getting the update then not being able to play.
