      help needed...slow responses

      Hi

Recently started getting my ass whooped while on Xbox live particularly fps's, people seem to spot me n shoot before I even have chance to aim my gun or even see them?

Noticed my SNR fluctuating quite significantly over the last couple of weeks, seen it as low as 3.4db and then by its self recover to over 11fb?

Tried new filters and also connected into the test socket, same thing. Line is apparently testing ok according to the provider.

Any one got any sugestions before I ring the wonderful tech support up and lose the plot and start looking for a new BB provider?

      Thanks in advance

Have you asked to be put on a gamer profile or have your delays reduced? This may result in a slight decrease in your speed, but if you are a keen gamer it may be worth it. From your stats it appears your delays are set to 32/8, whereas 8/8 would be the correct setting. This may be due to a bug in the router, but it is worth checking.

This wouldnt be MW3 would it
      if so its the game
it has really bad lag compensation in it
the people with the worst latency get a huge break

My latency is a1 and I get dropped the ms I see the person
cant even get my gun up intime

My friend who's in scotland and has a really bad line (sky also)
on delays 64 and 3 bar to every game
      smashes it every single game
its like he's running a second ahead of everyone

Shonk is right if it is modern warfare 3. Absolutely dire lag compensation, really frustrating when you play it and get destroyed through no fault of your own, when I get destroyed on MW3 I like to know its beacause im awful on it lol!

Yes its MW3 that's causing most headaches but noticed it on other stuff too. If the lag compensation is as bad as people are saying could be why I'm noticing it on that more than the others?

Still thinking of giving tech support a call though the line still looks to be building errors and the SNR continues to fluctuate wildly, aware it can to a bit but swings of upto 10db is a bit extreme
