Xbox 360 can't even find router.

      Hello SkyUser.co.uk

I'm having serious problems connecting my Xbox 360 to my Sky wireless.
Just to set the scene, my Mac, other Windows laptops in the house, my iPhone and my PS3 can find the network without a problem. My Xbox can't even find the network.

So I specify it as an unlisted network. Occasionally it will connect to the router and internet and stall at connecting to Xbox Live. Right now, it's refusing to even connect to the router. I've got a How-To once I get it connected from an earlier thread, but I'm still stuck in the traps.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have a Sagemcom F@ST2504n Sky router and the newer Xbox 360 model.

Looks like your wireless bridge may be faulty. Have you tried moving it closer to the router to see if the reception improves. Changing the router channel may help, but if all your other devices are connecting, that's doubtful. Most find that using an ethernet or homeplug connection works much better than wireless.

Re: Xbox 360 can't even find router.

Funnily enough I have moved it all of 2ft closer and it can now pick it up. I've gone through the mess of trying to open the ports but at the moment it's trying to download a dashboard update and appears to be failing.

      I'll see how this goes.

      *Edit*
So I've had an error pop up.
