      Please help!!! intermittent ping problems....

So about four to five days ago I noticed whilst on Xbox live everything was 2 bars or yellow ping so I've done everything I can, I've rang sky several times and asked to be put on a gamer profile and kept an eye on my speeds, tried all the wiring and test socket but nothing is working.

I end up with pings ranging from 50ms which is what I got all the time prior to a few days ago all the way up to 150ms, it just seems super unstable and makes online games lag and jitter ridiculously, any information needed I'm willing to provide, thanks.

These are a few examples (baring in mind I was always getting over 10mpbs down and close to 0.9 up a few days ago)

All taken at the time of posting one after another.

Could you post your extended stats Mel's Notes.

This will enable us to check if you are on a "Gamer Profile" or not.

You might also want to check This to see if you are one of the people affected by the backhaul issues.

      That rules out one thing

Normally that's what I would have been looking for.

But in your case if you have the router mentioned in your header I need you to click on the mel's notes link in my other post.

It will tell us if your line is building errors.

Your issue could be packet loss

      Do you game wirelessly?

It looks like your are on the 10240/800 max delays 8/8 INP 1 symbol

Sorry that's not the router I forgot to change the heading I'm on a Sagem Moden provided by sky not sure what verison though, and all gaming and other computers in the house are all on wired.

I think the router may be the Sagem F@ST 2504 V2 Sky Router.

I you received the router recently, then it could be the Sagem 2304n.

Could you install inSSIDer and look at the 'Max Rate' figure associated with your router in the list.

If it is 54 then it will be the 2504. If it is 72, then you have the 2304n. If the figure is another higher number, then you have the 2504N.

Yeah I can't even play with people locally, regionally or in the UK anywhere, nor 1v1 games like FIfa.

Appreciate the help it's driving me crazy

I'm wondering if their are unlisted issues with certain exchanges.

Might not be a bad idea to call Sky, get past Tier 1 and see if CST can provide an updated list of exchanges with issues.

What are your speed like when it is not at peak times?
