Wireless ? Try changing the channel in the router settings.
Ideally for gaming you want to be using an ethernet cable.
Also do a search for max delays then contact sky to get them reduced, if you havnt already.
A set of stats from both the master and the test sockets will also highlight any internal wiring issues if there are any.

Re: [Help] - Online Gaming Lagg

I believe if you ring Sky customer services and ask to be put on the gaming profile and they'll set the max delay to 8ms in each direction, although if your sync rate is high, your actual delay may already be below 8ms anyway.

I would suggest making sure your internal phone wiring is ok first in case they adjust your sync rate (eg either disconnect the ring wire or use a filtered faceplate if you have extensions), as freezing can be caused by adsl errors. See :- ::. Kitz - Improve your adsl connection speed .::

For what its worth, you can get more detailed adsl stats including CRC HEC and RSUnCorr error counts and the current delay from the sky d-link using the adsl stats button my program :- Mel's Notes: Sky D-Link DSL-2640S Router Password Extractor.

Use a program like inssider to find out which channels are in use and pick a channel that is 5 channels (or more) away from other users if possible.
