Port Forwarding Help with my sky sagem router

Right, I have been trying to port forward for a minecraft server on my sky sagem router, which binds to port 25565, however, no matter what I do it will not bind to the port, I am confident that the router just cannot port forward, perhaps someone else has any other ideas, I have even tried using an alternative port and forwarding that, I have followed two guides on how to port forward on here and i have been rather comprehensive.

Try downloading this application - Download Simple Port Forwarding 3.0.15 Free - Will make forwarding ports on your router as easy as a few clicks - Softpedia Delete all the rules you have set and set them up again using the application.

I've had exactly the same problem and i've been trying for quite a long time so i think it's just the router that can't port forward.
