Yes, many people have had this change applied, myself included before I went to O2.
You really need to ask for CST ( the guys/gals who will know what you are talking about )

Quite a few of the first line support havent got a clue about these things, you just have to phone again until you get someone who does.

      Re: Heads Up!!!

I just phoned up and asked to speak to CST. They just asked why I needed CST (to which I simply said that only CST would be able to help me) and put me straight through.

The guy I spoke to was pleasant and knowledgeable, and it turns out my Max Delays was already set at 8, so no tweaking required.

      Re: Heads Up!!!

Open the router settings, click the Advanced tab, then the WAN Setup tab and there is your DMZ. Tick the box and put the address of the machine you want to put in the Zone in the address line, click Apply and that's it. That machine no longer has firewall protection.

      Re: Heads Up!!!

A lot of us at tier 1 can reconfigure your line. If the agent you initially speak to hasn't got access, there is usually a colleague nearby who can reconfigure your line to a gamer profile.

Word of advice. Please don't ring demanding to speak to CST. You will be disappointed. We are now rarely able to transfer anyone through, and have to advise an up to 72 hour callback after escalating your issue.

Cue CST failing to respond in a number of cases, and us poor sods on first line support once again copping the flak.
