      Hi deadman1984,

Are you still having issues with this?

Are you able to confirm whether you are connected via ethernet or wireless?

As well as this, have you notice this dropout occurs on any particular webiste(s) more than than others?

Let us know and we'll do our best to help.

      Cheers

      Andy

I wonder if these random drop outs you are having have anything to do with the new Sky router?

Internet has been horrific lately, so just not bothered using it until now. Could I get a little bit more information please on what you need? I'm a bit new to this stuff.

You will have to trace the cable from where it enters your house too the master socket. Somewhere along the cable you will find a small box, this will either be a small white retangular box or an oval one of any of about 6 colours. Check how many cables are connected to this box. If there are more than 2, it means the cables are going to other extensions. This is what you have to sort out. Be sure to check all the way to the master socket as there may be more than one junction box. Photos of the box or boxes will help.

I will do this when I get back from college tomorrow.

Would replacing the microfilter also make a change? I bought a better-quality one which is being delivered this week than the one I currently have - which must of been there for quite a while now.

Replacing to filter may help a bit, but until you sort out the wiring, it will not help a lot.

Okay cheers. Had problems with transport getting home so it was dark just as I got in. Hopefully I'll get home a little earlier tomorrow to check the wiring.
