BT's service will always be better than Sky connect, as Sky connect is BTs service, Except BT has unlimited bandwidth available to them (since they own the lines) while sky only has a limited amount of bandwidth because they don't buy enough, sky also heavily throttle your line during peak times (5pm to 12am, i think) to limit the bandwidth been used and to save them selves money. However im pretty sure when i cut talktalk off they mentioned some 150 pound charge or some crap if i ever wanted to change back or something. This might apply to you if you was previously on bt.

You need to see what is available in your area.

Like i said, Fibre optic is the best. If not you either need to go with BT or a LLU provider.

Hmm, must of missed that post, if you have no LLU packages and no Fibre, your basically stuck on Connect packages, however different ISP's buy different amounts of bandwidth, sky is probably one of the worse as they are greedy. Like i said, BT have unlimited bandwidth because its their lines. You'll have to shop around and check reviews out. Look for one that only offers limited throttling (although sky is supposed to only throttle heavy users, it seems to just throttle everyone)

Hi who do you have your phone with. If it is with Sky. Bt will want you to move your phone back to Bt. About the speed. The only way is to ring Bt and ask.
