Solutions to save me having a wire going through the house

      Hey

I heard about homeplugs and I was wondering what they do?

My dilema is I play Xbox 360 online and I dont want to use it wireless I prefer wired connection instead. But at the moment I have a big long ethernet cable running through the house and it's really untidy. I also phoned up and see if I could have a phone box connection thing in my bedroom so I could have the router in my room but it wasn't possible I was told.

      Any solutions?

homeplugs turn your house electrical wiring into ethernet cables.

You need one by the router and one in the room that you want to hook up.

      I use these

Max Value 85 Mbps Home Plug Double Unit Pack: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo

      hope that helps

So it's just the same as having the ethernet cable through the house?

Yes but without the cables, they are a superb invention, much better than wireless.
