i get about 50 ping i used to get about 32 ping i dont no why its changed? shall i ring up sky for max delays?

i get disconnections from the router sometimes and when im hosting call of duty matchs which is highly annoying.

when it disconnects the router goes orange light on the router for about 10 second then green then it works again..

because i rang up sky a while ago to change my upload speeds i was on 16meg 500 up i think and the guy from cs team said its unstable at 1meg upload..etc so when i put the phone down it was at 16meg download and 900 something upload he said he would watch the line over the next hour hours to see how stable it was and i checked again later and it was 12meg 900 upload maybe ive got to much upload my line can handle ? so i get disconnected?

You should be seeing a lot higher speeds with that attenuation. Plug into your test socket and re-take the stats. It seems, from your description of the problem, that noise is generating causing your SNR to drop low making you lose sync.

Can you confirm your set-up into the test socket is as follows:

test socket > microfilter > adsl cable*

      * ADSL cable is the one that sky supplied, not an extension rj11 cable.

Do you have any noise such as crackles/static/pops on your landline whilst in use?
