      some good news for xbox 360 owners

      I wasn't quite sure where to post this - sorry mods if I got the wrong place

      MA have done a deal with SKY to bring sky content to xbox live

      sounds interesting...not sure what costs will be involed

      BBC NEWS | Technology | Sky puts content on Xbox console

      ...hhhmmm....
      what's everyone elses reaction?

      channel 4 news just said that BBC, ITV and BT are to launch CANVAS next week which will have special freeview boxes that will have VOD.

      Looks like Sky and MS need to get in before that got announced.

      To be honest this looks to be another gimmick by MS as their VOD with BT looks like it's crashed and burned (especially with BT backing CANVAS) and Sky get a quick VOD system.

      Although with the ethernet port on the HD box why isn't VOD being rolled out to the HD box instead of the Xbox 360?

      One big issue will be bandwidth can the ISP's have enough bandwidth to satisfied VOD?
      I'm a PC, and Windows 7 Backup saved my sanity when BitDefender imploded !!!
