PS3 DNS error-- How to solve it!
Here is the numbers which you need to enter to solve the ps3 dns error:
The servers to use are 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220. It would also probably be better if you also give it a static address, something like 192.168.0.254 this will keep it well clear of other addresses and avoid conflicts.

To be honest, if you feel up to it, it may pay you to install James custom firmware. This would allow you to put the open servers direct into the router, so that all PCs connected to it would use the open servers. If you are the least bit apprehensive about this don't try it. You will find it here-

Re: PS3 Dns error-- How to solve it!
From what I have read it is Sony who messed things up with an update, all ISPs were effected not just Sky. OpenDNS servers are well known here and anyone using them should go to the official site to find out more. They are better put into the router, but not all Sky routers allow this. Re: PS3 DNS error-- How to solve it!
No problem, you have brought it to the notice of PS3 users, that is what is important. Unfortunately a lot of people post looking for an answer without even bothering to search or even look at the stickies. I could almost bet there will be another post about this in the next couple of days.
