Leaving Sky.. But not sure whom to go with..

      Hi All,

Firstly ive managed to get my MAC code from Sky (even tho they sent it to the wroung address....)

So now I have to decide who to move over to. I have narrowed it down to 2
Plusnet or Eclipse. My exchange does not yet support LLU or ADSL2(+)
So my max speed is going to be 8meg.

I am looking to have as lower ping as possible, I know Plusnet have a service that is designed for gamers however Eclipes have traffic control (which means I could set my connection up for gaming) So im kinda at a dead end here

Have/Is Anyone with either of these 2 and if so could you please advise on their service? Or if anyone had any horror stories please let me know !
      Thanks

The Plusnet gamers package is great for gamers and they have a very good contact in BT (BT owns them) and manager their network very well now (not like the old days).

I would say that this os one of the best gamer packages and Plusnet know their stuff when it comes to traffic shaping ect. They also know what Fastpath is and how to get it.

If you have Cable & Wireless at your exchange you can get LLU with a re-seller.
Costs me 21.85 on my other line for Unlimited broadband and I mean unlimited, No throttling, No IP profile ect...

if plusnet has a gaming package then I would go to them although I would ask them about pings and any other questions from plusnet themselves.
