Sky don't traffic shape LLU connections and as he is on Base that won't be the problem.

Now if he was on Sky Connect that would be different.

Base is the default value for new users. I certainly didn't put Base in my profile.

I don't recognise the path his traffic takes though, so maybe he really is on LLU though. Can't say for sure.

Well change it in your profile then there will be no confusion.

If you are on connect, you are stuffed for gaming.

      I'm actually on UKOnline! =)

However, since they're owned by Sky and share the exactly the same network for at least IPStream customers, the Sky User boards are more relevant than any UKOnline board where the majority are LLU customers.

Re: Max delays reduced still no better HELP!!!

There are two simple steps gamers should do to get a good conection:-

      1- don't use Sky Connect.

      2- don't use wireless.

This will be the main reason for lag in game.

Re: Max delays reduced still no better HELP!!!

You are very heavily capped. Phone Sky and ask them to trouble shoot your connection for speed as it looks like DLM may have run on your line and left it crippled. When you phone be plugged into the Test socket if you have one, link below, or the Master socket and use a new filter. This will save you having to call back as they usually ask you to do this.

A move to G.DMT may help your line, but CST will pick this up.
