      From 2mb dl to 335kb?

Basically we're on the middle pack from Sky Broadband. Initially when we first got it, it worked fine with a download speed of around the 2mb mark. However recently in the last few months its dropped down to around an average of 335kb. I really do not understand what has caused the problem

It froze one time, and then we requested another router from Sky but never received it.

Oh and when we first got the service, my xbox 360 claimed the NAT was open, its now moderate.

      Please help.

      Thank you in advance

Now plug into your Test socket, link below, and post them from there.

Re: From 2mb dl to 335kb?

Unfortunately I can't plug into the test socket, basically I'm 17, my dad thinks that the broadband is quick (He's 55). He won't let me fiddle around with anything, he thinks that 335 kb is good, obviously its not...

Re: From 2mb dl to 335kb?

The main problem really is that I can't be on internet at the same time as the rest of my family. I play the Xbox frequently online, however I have to stop if my dad goes on the computer. I need a way of letting us both go online at the same time with no speed problems (lag). I'm not to concerned about downloading, just this.

      Thanks

Re: From 2mb dl to 335kb?

Unfortunately without figures from the Test socket you are stuck.

Tell your dad I was in the army before he was in nappies and I think his speed sucks.
