      Re: ping,bb connection!!!

If you can get on the Sky LLU product I would advise holding out. The Connect package is suffering problems with capacity at the moment and that will impact on ping times.

The Sky Mid or Max package is not suffering from this and ping times should be a lot better. The only thing I would do if I were you is ring again and make sure that they have the LLU equipment in your exchange and get them you give you a definate date etc, make sure it is also logged on their system and advise that if they cannot get you on the Mid or Max that you will need to leave.

If you can give the STD of your phone number we can check here to see if your exchange is indeed enabled for LLU or if they are just dragging it out.

Crossgates has been enabled for some years. as Smithy says insist you are moved over asap, or at least be given a date for the move.

In which case, stick with it, it is well worth the effort.

If you post your router stats we can give you an idea of your speed for both Mid & Max.

It is worth holding out, the difference between LLU and Connect is chalk and cheese, you will see a big difference.

You should get between 5-7Mb depending on your line.

Sorry to tell you, you are definitely on Connect. Phone Sky and ask them what is happening don't depend too much on Texts. Make sure you are not being charged 17, check your online account.
