      I think am being throttled!

      Morning All,

      After numerous calls and finally finding your website I blieve I am being throttled.

      My coonection details are as follows: -

      Broadband package: Sky Connect
      Normal Speed: 5-6mb
      Current throttled speed: 0.5mb-1mb (during 6pm-10pm))
      Average usage per day: Gamer - WOW
      What does this throttling affect? Browsing / Gaming (continuius DCs and lag)/

      I have spoken to Sky and they have asked me to run Test Result using my MAC. They have also confirmed that I am well within my usage allowances.

      My question to the wiser members is will this test prove the throttling is a BT or Sky issue? If BT and I am not using excessively will they remove the RAMBO control?

      Look forward to some feeedback!

      Yeah its a bit of a nightmare at times, I have just learnt to change the way I use the web, bit of a shame as I am a gamer, do a bit of FTP stuff, also browsing and email. Then I have the rest of the family.

      I use Net monitor see linky below, great little tool tells me about the amount used on that single machine.

      Sky are looking into it, also a couple of us on here are doing our own investigation work.
