No i haven't tried but will do.

By the looks of if your getting full speed anyway for the Mid package, so its more a pc issue.

Have you tried in Safemode ?
I've tried it on safemode it gave me same results also i've tried it on another computer still same low download speed on the first 6months it was full 8mb but all of a sudden has dropped, sky say they haven't done anything tho :S

Most speedtest sites are a waste of space, they very rarley give accurate results. You could try the Sky User one as it's meant to be better.

Best thing you can do is to download a big file from microsoft and time it.

You don't appear to be capped as your sync rate is fine and you noise margin is as low as it should be.
Even the sky users speed test gave a low download speed but sky users was 800kbps, When i downloaded a file from microsoft it was downloading at 93.3kB/sec but a week before i was downloading at 800kB/sec..

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 8096 kbps 416 kbps
Line Attenuation 36.0 db 17.5 db
Noise Margin 7.6 db 13.0 db

When plugged directly into test socket, didn't make any diffrence its same as it was last night, Bearing in mind that the router is normally plugged into the master socket.
Whislt plugged into the test socket the internet keeps going down, Duno weather its a coincidence or if theres some thing more to it.

After monitering the stats i have seen that the noise margin moves from 7.2 - 8.6 at times..

Speedtest result when connected to the test socket.
