Unhappy Random Lag Spikes

Hello,

I've had Sky 16meg for about 2/3 months now, and it's been fine, I've played COD4 on both my PS3 and Xbox 360; also I play a game called WarRock on my PC. However recently I'd be playing as normal on WarRock and all of a sudden my ping would shoot up to 350+ without warning, causing me to have to leave games which is a pain, and it would last for about 2 minutes, go back to normal, and then about 10 minutes later do it again. I usually ping about 40-75. My SpeedTest result to Maidenhead shows 6000kbs download and a 768 upload, which is great and all.. But where are these spikes coming from?

Cheers,

Invisible.

Re: Random Lag Spikes

Hi m8, just a couple of question back at you:
1. Is it just happeing on WarRock?
2. Are you using Vista and recently moved from a wired connection to a wireless connection?

Hi m8, just a couple of question back at you:
1. Is it just happening on WarRock?
2. Are you using Vista and recently moved from a wired connection to a wireless connection?
